Write Dreams was set up after I read in my local newspaper about the arson attack on Donna’s Dream House, a holiday home for terminally ill children, a couple of days before Christmas 2011.
With the help of Marieke & Amanda Milner plus all the support from the writing community we raised an amazing £1073 / $1694.
In March 2012 Donna’s Dream House reopened to welcome its first family since the fire.
Write Hope was set up by Marieke, Rachael Harrie, Amanda Milner and I, following the earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
We auctioned books, critiques, and other prizes donated for the Save the Children’s emergency relief fund, the total raised was $10,351
