This has nothing to do with writing, reading or general YA related things and everything to do with me thinking “WTF”.
Sometimes I seriously don’t get it.
Ok… I frequently don’t get it. I don’t get the Kardashians*, Jordan, X-Factor and Justin Bieber but you know I don’t have to. If you get it/them – then enjoy. My Dance & Musical obsession is probably not your thing.
Like how I don’t like Twilight** but come between me and Sunshine and I will get nasty.
Point is: To each their own.
Why waste hours trying to convince people you are right and when that doesn’t work spend days ripping them to pieces? You’re just making an ass of yourself.

*A I had to look up how to spell their name & B I still wanted to type Cardassian ![]()
**I have read it & seen it
Disclaimer: This is not about me, it’s something I’m watching unfold outside of Writerland.
Thought-Provoking!!
Well .. Isn’t life about showing?
I know life is about living .. but most of the time we intend to show that we are right.. that we are more knowledgeable and … don’t we?

I do agree with you. I think my issue is the “how”.
Telling someone they should die and are hideous because they don’t like the same performer as you is too far.
When it gets to that stage, I think they have automatically lost any valid argument because of their own actions.
Yeah, I agree, I try to never judge people based on loving what they love, just go with ‘Alright, but I don’t think that’s something I’d like.’
I love it that you wanted to call the Kardashians Cardassians! Speaking of, last week ‘Castle’ had a character who was pretty obviously intended as a sendup of a Kardashian – Kay Cappuccio.
